Last Minute Costume Ideas

With Halloween right around the corner, it’s time to dress up. Some people have had their costumes planned for weeks, some maybe even months. But, if you’re like me, you have no clue what you’re going to wear yet. Well, if you’re stressing out about what to wear for Halloween here are a few ideas that might help you come up with a costume.

The tried and true hippie/ 70s look

With a lot of 70s trends resurfacing recently in fashion this iconic era is pretty easy to accomplish. Most people have something 70s inspired in their closet, look for: flares, bell sleeves, flower patterns, tie dye, and warm tones of oranges, reds, yellows, and browns. If you’re going for more of the 70s disco look go for big collars, slacks, bell sleeves, jumpsuits, and shine. Imagine you’re in an ABBA music video!

Powerpuff Girls

Got a group of three? Each of you dress in either pink, blue, and green. This is a super easy group costume!

Your Spotify top artist, or your favorite musician

This can be a group costume, or by yourself! Dress up as iconic bands like Fleetwood Mac, One Direction, ABBA, and Queen. Or dress up as some of today’s top artists.

The Classics

The classics are classics for a reason: they’re simple and look good every time.

In the end, Halloween shouldn’t be scary (well, it should), but finding your costume should not be scary. As long as you’re wearing something that makes you happy and confident you are all set. Have a happy and safe Halloween, and have fun putting together your costumes!
