2025-2026 Meetings
City Voice meetings are weekly after school from 2:45-3:15. The location and day is yet to be determined.
Writers, photographers, filmmakers, actors, and artists from grades 7-12 work together to publish a newsletter for the whole school to enjoy, as well as taking part in special events like Michigan Interscholastic Press Association conferences and national contests organized by the National Scholastic Press Association.
City Voice members can earn statewide and nationwide recognition for their work, as well as meeting many of City’s CAS requirements. More importantly, writers spend their time covering topics they’re genuinely passionate about, and everything from science fiction to James Bond’s sneeze gets a place on the front page.
