Aaron Chen
A senior, Aaron Chen is involved with Speech & Debate, NHS, GRYS, the City Chess Club and E-Club. Aaron has represented City at national level events for 3 years, including earning the title of 2021 National Speech and Debate Tournament Champion. A correspondent for The City Voice, Aaron reports on current events and analyzes political and social issues important to a dynamically changing generation of young adults.

Hi my name is Anna! I’m a seventh grader and I am interested in a wide range of writing. I enjoy reading and hanging out with animals. I have a dog, two guinea pigs, and two crested geckos. I ride OTTBs every other week. I also do Odyssey Of The Mind and my team made it to world finals last year!

Hiii! My name is Lia and I’m a sophmore here at City! A few fun facts about me: I’m one of the student ambassador co-presidents, the historian on the NHS executive board, the Chinese Club spearhead, flute section leader in the band program, part of the City Voice, and the class of 2025 student government president! Outside of school I’m involved in Youth Grant Committee or YGC, I’m the executive outreach director for GENUp MI, and I play tennis for Ottawa Hills. Some of my hobbies include spending time with family and friends, reading, playing tennis, and playing my flute.

Hi! My name is Lucia Maher and I am the Co-President for Student Ambassadors this year. This is my fourth year at city, and I am a sophomore. I play soccer as a midfielder for MSA in the fall and for Union in the spring. I also love reading!
