Join Union Girls’ Tennis!

The girls’ Union High School tennis team is beginning training on March 14, 2022!

No previous experience is needed to join the team! The Union tennis team has excellent, experienced coaches ready to teach a wide range of skills for both beginner and advanced players.

The general meeting for both players and parents will be held in the City High cafeteria on February 17, at 3 PM, with Coach Bill Schaefer, in order to start the season and address any questions or concerns.

Some reasons you should join the team:

  • The Union girls’ tennis team placed 1st in the All-State Team Academic competition and 2nd nationwide out of 327 schools in 2020
  • The team has won against the Ottawa Hills girls’ tennis team for the City Trophy for the last 4 years
  • In 2020, the team went 14 wins and only 4 losses
  • The season is only 8 weeks long and ends on May 18th
  • And many more!

Please contact Head Coach Bill Schaefer at 616-214-1476 or schaeferbil@yahoo.com for more information. A great season full of fun awaits!
