Air pollution and carbon emissions have fallen significantly in the past year, which is great news for the environment, but the question of what comes next is still disputed. Although there are many hopeful signs about pollution, the Center for International Climate and Environment Research in Oslo has estimated a drop in carbon emissions by only 0.3%, and some experts are worried that the issue of climate change may drop out of mind due to the new crisis. A more optimistic outlook shown on this matter is that people have responded quickly and seriously to the Covid-19 crisis, and communities have taken quick action to slow the spread, if we can do the same for climate change, we will end up in a better world.
