Due to the beaches globally being empty due to the coronavirus, the Olive Ridley sea turtles have been able to lay their eggs in peace. More than 70,000 Olive Ridley sea turtles were seen nesting along the coast of the eastern Indian state of Odisha. Amlan Nayak, a district forest officer in the area, said this was the first time since 2013 that they had seen daytime nesting for the Turtles. And even more surprising was that the turtles came out equally in the night as they did in the day.
