According to Rick Riordan, the creator of the Percy Jackson series, he felt that Annabeth Chase should be one of those characters to have a diverse feeling. So that is why they casted Leah Jeffries as Annabeth Chase. Leah Jeffries is an upcoming actor who features as Norah Samuels in the 2022 film, Beast and as Daisy Greene in another 2022 film, Something From Tiffany’s. However there are a lot of complaints about why Annabeth Chase is casted by a black actress.
Grover Underwood
Now for the funny and iconic satyr himself, Disney Productions had decided to casted Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood in the Percy Jackson television series. Aryan is an indian american voice actor who also features in The Main Event (2020) as Riyaz, and in another disney film, Cheaper By The Dozen as Haresh Baker.

Now for the main character himself, the Disney Productions team and Rick Riordan pick Walker Scobell to be Percy Jackson. Walker Scobell is an upcoming actor who features in a few films. He casted Charlie Kincaid in the 2022 film, Secret Headquarters, and also he casted as Adam Reed in the 2022 Netflix series, The Adam Project.
Zeus
The person of casted the Olympian Overlord, Zeus is no other than the John Wick actor, Lance Reddick. Lance Reddick was an American actor who was well known for his role as Charon in the John Wick franchise. Lance Reddick also was featured in The Wire as Cedric Daniels, in Resident Evil as Albert Wesker, and etc. However actor Lance Reddick has passed away on Mar 17, 2023 making his role as Zeus in the new Percy Jackson television series, his final role.
Poseidon
The earthshaker, the creator of horses, and the Greek God of the Sea, Poseidon is played by Toby Stephens. Toby Stephens is a British actor who appeared in numerous films across the UK, US, and India. He is well known for his role as Gustav Graves, a villain from the 2002 James Bond film, Die Another Day. Toby Stephens also appeared in the 2018 Netflix Sci-Fi series, Lost In Space as he played John Robinson.
Sally Jackson
The beloved mother of Percy Jackson and the mortal wife of Greek God Poseidon is played by Virginia Kull. Virginia Kull is another American actress who appeared in a lot of films. Virginia Kull appeared in the 2020 film, The Empty Man as Ruthie. She also appeared in the popular 2017 drama series, Big Little Lies where her role was Mrs. Barnes.
