Harry Potter, along with his best friends, Ron and Hermione, are about to start their third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Elle’s Review:
Much like Coco, I really enjoyed this book, unlike her, I prefer Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets, or Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (they’re tied) over Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban. I would personally rate this a 4 out of 5 stars due to the fact that there were a lot of new characters introduced like Professor Lupin (he’s awesome) but some parts of the book were kind of confusing. The evolution of the plot in this book is amazing! And it adds a lot of world-building needed for the rest of the series. If you enjoy this book I would definitely recommend The Hunger Games, Divergent, and Percy Jackson (everyone needs to read this though, it’s a masterpiece).
Coco’s Review:
I LOVE this book. It’s one of my favorite books in the Harry Potter series! I’ve read it multiple times and it’s always so fun to read every time. The plot is absolutely fantastic. However, in the end, it does get a bit confusing. This book is also my favorite Harry Potter movie. The new characters we get introduced to in this book are so interesting and add so much to the overall plot of the series. This book is definitely an essential book in the series. If you are interested in reading this book I would definitely suggest reading the rest of the series, as well. I would also recommend His Dark Materials, Shadow and Bone, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe.
