It’s almost time for one of my favorite holidays- Halloween. To be completely honest, although dressing up in costumes and seeing all the decorations is fun, getting free candy has to be the best part. Here are my top ten personal favorite Halloween candies and chocolate!
Number 1 – Starburst
You really can’t go wrong with Starburst- it’s one of those candies that are hard to not love. If you like candy, there’s no way you don’t like Starburst. It may be basic but everyone loves it for a reason!
Number 2 – Twix
If you’re going for chocolate I recommend Twix. Twix has a cookie base, chewy caramel filling, and chocolate coating, and makes a great snack! (Personally, I am a left Twix fan.)
Number 3 – Skittles
Skittles come in small packs so it’s great if you want a snack you don’t have to eat all at once. It comes in different fruit-flavored colors and variations such as Wild Berry Skittles and Sour Skittles.
Number 4 – Sour Patch Kids
Sour Patch Kids are famously “Sour Then Sweet”, just like their slogan. They’re fun to eat, and like Skittles, they come in small packs.
Number 5 – M&Ms
M&Ms, candy-coated chocolate bits, also come in a small packs like Skittles and Sour Patch! They are not only a great candy but a great addition to other foods, such as cookies.
Number 6 – Snickers
If you like caramel, peanuts, and chocolate, Snickers is a great one! It’s similar to Twix but with peanuts added and a nougat instead of the cookie.
Number 7 – Milky Way
Milky Way is essentially Snickers without peanuts. It still tastes awesome and would be great if you have a peanut allergy but want something similar to Snickers.
Number 8 – 3 Musketeers
Milky Way without caramel is 3 Musketeers. If you’re not a fan of caramel, try 3 Musketeers, milk chocolate with a nougat inside.
Number 9 – Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, also known as Reese’s Pieces, is a peanut butter candy in a little cup. It may not be a candy bar but it is still well-loved amongst many people I know!
Number 10 – Smarties
Since everyone at City is so smart I would expect everyone to like Smarties! I have never heard anyone say they don’t like Smarties and I can see why. They’re fun to eat, colorful, and taste great!
Can you tell I’m a big candy fan? What are your favorite Halloween candies? Do you agree with this list? Have fun trick-or-treating and eat lots of candy. Happy Halloween!!!
