Mandalorian Season 2 Premier Review

Last Friday was a highly anticipated day for Mandalorian fans, the long awaited season two of the show premiered on Disney Plus! The first episode is available now, with new episodes aired every Friday. There has been a lot of speculation and anticipation about the second season and the premier did not disappoint! It starts with Din Djarin looking for other mandalorians so he can bring baby yoda to the Jedi order. Things get messy but Mando gets the location of another mandalorian and sets out to find them.

The start of the new season has brought back all of the things people loved about the first season! The episode has a solid story that plays well into the larger plot, plus a talented cast and crew to back it up! Everything that goes into this show comes together  to make a unique and engaging show that everyone can enjoy. There were a lot of questions left over from the finale of the last season and it seems like fans will get the answers they want! Even though there is only one  episode of the new season so far, many things that fans have been speculating about have already been dealt with. For now there are way more questions than answers but this is the groundwork for another great season. The season premier does a great job of blending that nostalgic feel of the original movies while mixing in the feel of the new movies and elements from more obscure Star Wars titles like The Clone Wars and Rebels. That trend promises to continue. Despite its ties to the rest of the Star Wars universe, The Mandalorian also succeeds in being something completely unique amid the rest of the franchise. Being connected to the old and new content, while still standing on its own, is what gives this show its flair.

If you have not had the chance to catch up on the new season or watch the first season of The Mandalorian I would highly recommend it! Die hard Star Wars fans and people who have never seen Star Wars alike will find something to enjoy. With more of season two on its way, now is the perfect time to get caught up on a show that promises to be one for the history books!
