City Voice Places Three Finalists in National Journalism Competition

This week, The City Voice is excited to congratulate Sam Ostrow and Krishna Mano on their advancement to finalist status in the National Scholastic Press Association’s (NSPA) annual Junior High Story of the Year competition. Only ten entrants in the entire United States were awarded with this honor, and two of them are from City High Middle School! Update – 11/1/2021: Congratulations to Devan “Kumar” Varma on his advancement to finalist status in NSPA’s Broadcast Journalist of the Year competition! As one of only ten finalists in the entire United States, Kumar will now compete for the prestigious Broadcast Journalist of the Year title, with results to be announced by the National Scholastic Press Association later this month.
