The City Voice is excited to congratulate Sam Ostrow on winning 4th place in the entire United States in the National Scholastic Press Association’s Junior High Story of the Year competition! Sam’s article Are You Paying the Right Amount for Your E-Book? made the top 5 after competing against other pieces written by 7th and 8th grade journalists from across the country. Krishna Mano and Devan “Kumar” Varma also received Honorable Mentions in highly competitive NSPA competitions, with Krishna also competing in the middle school division and Kumar placing in the top 10 for Broadcast Journalist of the Year! Congratulations to this amazing team on their incredible work!
